AS LAST AS SUMMER

Faint white thread strands across sky's height; Milky Way they tell you,
in old prayers river soulbeat sails, or truer Centre
of Galaxy we orbit: unwisely said, web holds spider

Steve Sneyd
early morning sun
lights universe of cobwebs
each a galaxy

Mark Johnson
crazy spider
dreaming the Milky Way
as his own web

Andrei Dorian Gheorghe
lilac perfume
a night spider weaves
across the moon
