NEW HOPE INTERNATIONAL REVIEW ON-LINE

Most of this magazine is written in Romanian, which whilst disadvantaging me, is good news for those who read Romanian and have an interest in astronomy.

One of the articles herein is about the Zodiac. Whilst I can't interpret the text I can enjoy the wonderful diagrams and drawings that accompany the descriptions. Other articles concern lunar eclipses, meteors, and the gnomon.

Costea Danut contributes a fascinating piece in English, THE LION'S RITUAL. In this he matches up Chinese mythology to astronomy in an understanding way.

The magazine reports on conferences and includes a number of photographs, some in colour.

At the end are a couple of pages of Astropoetry, including translations into Romanian of pieces by Gerald England, Steve Sneyd and John Francis Haines.
