Jamini Kanta Jagadev was born in 1938 in the small village of
Jariput, Orissa, India. He served the Govt. Of Orissa in various capacities during his tenure
and at the same time pursued his other
passion poetry. He is now retired and currently resides in Bhubaneswar.
His poems have appeared in several journals, magazines
and anthologies in India, USA, Germany and France. Another poem can be viewed on
